Tomorrow: Matthew Ames SS10 fashion show.
I had the great opportunity to interview Matthew Ames for the upcoming November issue of Gravure Magazine. One of the most talked-about designers working today, and a recent winner of the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation Award, Matthew is cerebral, eloquent and charming. His clothes are minimal and formally pure--trimmed of fastenings and needless closures. If Gordon Lish designed clothes, they might look like this.
